Free health check for your new pet!
It's always sensible to have a Veterinary health check for any new pet you adopt, be they a puppy/kitten or an older rescue animal. A lot of puppy and kitten breeders will actually go as far as to recommend one within a couple of days of taking your new pet home anyway. Although it's rare to find serious health problems, we can occasionally pick up issues that you want to speak to your breeder about, and it's always a good idea to discuss parasite control, especially for the youngsters.
We often tie in this health check examination with vaccines, especially for the puppies and kittens. Older rescue animals sometimes need a top up on the vaccines that the rescue kennel or cattery have given as well.
